Overview & Reviews
The Monte Carlo receives only minor changes for the 2003 model year. The base LS model has been upgraded with standard four-wheel disc brakes, traction control and remote keyless entry. Both the LS and SS models sport newly styled wheels, four new exterior colors and the option of adding XM Satellite Radio.
- Spacious interior, low sticker price, strong V6 in SS models.
- Mediocre performance, bland interior with cheap materials, no passenger side-impact airbag.

Great car - 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
By CHEVY HEAD - August 31 - 11:53 amBought this car about a year ago and I still love it! Drives like a car costing thousands more. In these crippling times people need value in their used car purchases. Monte Carlo offers that. Unique styling in an never ending sea of cookie cutter Japanese junk. GM never should have stopped making them!

Ford Cant Beat it - 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
By KEN JOCHUM - May 21 - 11:36 pmI would love to have one with a V8 but at age 63 a V6 goes fast enough. The gas mileage is great. I average 27.2mpg a tank driving at 60-73mph with some city driving included. It has remarkable correction on the road. This car will not go on the block for sale anytime soon.

Love My Car - 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
By June Seymour - April 1 - 12:03 pmI only have 56,600 miles on the car. Runs great and have only had it in for regular service. Wish GM still made this vehicle. People look at car when Im driving and give me thumbs up or a toot, but I know it is not for me because of my age. My car still looks like new!

2003 Monte Carlo - 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
By DawnA - October 22 - 2:00 amIve driven Pontiacs for the past 7 years and was planning to purchase another one until I test drove a 2003 Monte Carlo. I loved the get up and go it had and just had to buy it. The sleak body and style blew me away. I am also impressed that it gets just as good gas mileage as the pontiac did.

Moved up from LS to SS - 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
By J&J - October 12 - 10:00 amWe had the 2000 LS and when it was time to trade in the car (we lease) we decided to jump to the SS just to see if the power was as they claim. It is! We have upgrades of the stero system, love the on the steering wheel controls, side air bag, anit-lock brakes, the traction control was fantastic in our mountain winter condtions - want that again! Have the milage, temperature, etc. readings on this one, fun but not needed. We plan on getting another SS in 2006.

2003 Monte Carlo - Love it - 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
By landerson - October 12 - 10:00 amI DRIVE my Monte Carlo. I love my Monte Carlo. I commute daily and I drive in a city during the day. The car rides great, looks awesome. It is sporty but also is like a full size car in comfort. I purchased an LS but plan to trade up to an SS in about a year! Great buy

Good value - 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
By beegee - June 17 - 2:00 amGood american built car. Great freeway driver. 200 HP engine - more than enough to get through most daily traffic situations. I like that it does not look like most other cars.

I Love This Car - 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
By Krysta - May 10 - 8:56 pmI love my car. It is the 1st car I have purchased, and I could not have asked for more. It is fun and sporty, but still roomy and spacious on the inside. Its pretty fast for a car its size, and the body shap is inique. It has great curves, and there is not a car on the road that looks anything like it. The car drives like a dream, and in my opinion it handles really well. I love the color on my car, the color is called Berry Red Metalic, and I have not seen one in my area with the same color.
